Editorial Reviews:

Book Description
St. Vincent and the Grenadines have so much to offer the visitor. St. Vincent itself has breathtaking volcanic mountains, fertile valleys famous for their fruit and vegetables, archaeological sites, ancient fishing villages, and much more.

The harbors and anchorages of the Grenadines are meeting places for sailors and yachts from all over the world. Special emphasis has been given to providing the right sort of information needed on sailing vacations throughout the area.

Appreciation of all these attractions is enhanced by the author's brief historical detail.

1 out of 5 stars A guide it isn't!   March 17, 2007

Full of great pictures, but at best, it is only an introduction to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. If you are looking for a serious cruising guide, as I was, don't get this. It is a very good introduction though.

4 out of 5 stars The real scoop for the tourist visiting St. Vincent   August 4, 2004

This is a good over view book that expands, but does not replace an excellent travel annual published by the St. Vincent travel bureau. The author is explicit about specific companies and people who can render service, such as diving. She also updates situations that may have changed since recorded in an older travel book. She clearly loves the islands and this comes through. Not expensive, and well worth adding. Books about St. Vincent are few enough.
