Product Description
This first edition of the Cruising Guide to Caribbean Marinas and Services is an essential reference guide for every vessel from mega-yachts to sail and powerboats cruising the islands from the Bahamas, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Bonaire, Curacao and Aruba. This extensively researched guide includes complete details of services and contact information for marinas, marine repair facilities and port information throughout the island chain.

The mission of this guide is to direct yachts to a marina with the necessary depth, slip size, amenities and fees; and to provide the necessary information to find the right boatyard to service their vessel. Also included is a variety of portside information from emergency phone numbers, ports of entry, customs and immigration requirements, local restaurants to shopping for each island. All these details, including website and email information is provided in an organized format for quick and easy reference.

By using this guide yachtsmen can plan their voyage in advance; which marinas provide fuel or where they can haul their yacht for routine or emergency maintenance. Don't leave port without this new publication!

1 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy This Book!   September 10, 2007

This book is a waste of money. I was extremely disappointed in this book. Very little information. You can easily get all the information in this book off the internet. If you are too lazy to check the internet then buy Chris Doyle's Guides. With the "Cruising Guide" label I was expecting something on par with the other guides published. I can't believe this actually got published under this series.

1 out of 5 stars Only phone numbers except for advertisers   October 25, 2006

Very dissappointing. The description implied you would get # of slips per marina, depth, email contact info., etc. Wrong. You only get phone numbers (unless you're interested in one of the few advertisers). If you want a phone book, this is it. If you were hoping for specific information about the various marinas, this is not your book.
