Product Description
In golf, the word Hybrid has become synonymous with a class of game improvement clubs that is a cross between an iron and a metal wood. Hybrids combine the best or most playable aspects of each. Hybrid, by definition is: anything derived from heterogeneous sources, or composed of elements of different or incongruous kinds. Rife putters, is now introducing the worlds first hybrid putter, the TwoBar Hybrid Mallet. This putter is a combination of elements taken from the 2007 Golf Magazine Mallet of the Year Island Series Barbados, and the even-more-successful original TwoBar putter. The most distinct features and performance benefits from both models have been blended into one new spectacular design that is a game improving hybrid product in every sense of the word. The new TwoBar Hybrid features Rifes patented RollGroove Technology TwoBar Alignment, Twin In-Line Moment of Inertia (MOI), Dual Response (DR) insert technology, the LieAline Fitting System, and adjustable Speed Weighting. Package Includes: The new revolutionary Rife Two Bar Hybrid Mallet, Custom Dual Textured Winn AVS grip, Extruded (no seam) stepless steel shaft, Two sets of rear weight screws 12.5 grams & 20 grams, Allen wrench adjustment tool, LieAlign bending tool, "Putting to Win" DVD, Custom head cover with zipper pocket for weights.

5 out of 5 stars Why aren't more players using this putter?   April 23, 2008

You will not believe how true your ball will roll using this putter. I have played the TWO BALL putter for a year and it's not even in the same league. I won't get into the tech behind it, who really cares, their website covers it indepth. The ball just holds it's line, no skipping, no hopping, and attacks the hole. Anything 4ft and in is a gimmie because the ball just will not steer from its' course. And alignment could not be easier, place ball between two bars and watch it disappear in the hole. Actually the ball was too hot off of the face when I first put it in play...more than a few balls rolled right over the hole. After a few practice sessions at the range, MONEY! The confidence I get from this putter has affected all aspects of my game because I know even if I hit an errant drive or fairway shot I have a great chance to scramble for par once I chip on and one put with the RIFE! Do yourself a favor, stop over paying for that driver that you will only use 8 to 9 times a round and invest in a club that will really save strokes where it counts.

5 out of 5 stars May be the last putter you ever buy   April 15, 2007

Guerin Rife's 2 Bar Mallet putter is probably the last putter that you'll ever have to buy. With 3 different sets of weights you can set the putter weight for standard, light or heavier weight. You can even set the weight to be heavier at the toe or the heel. An attractive case with 3 sets of weights and the Allen wrench is included.

The video narrated by Jim McLean is excellent. No new strategies are outlined but the tips are solid.

The putter is customizable with regard to the lie angle, also. The accompanying video shows you how and a tool is included on how to do it.

With the weight ports, you can easily align shots for straight putts. The styling is innovative. The forged milled Aluminum composition with a Charcoal Grey finish is eye catching. The putter head has a roll grooved face which is very soft. The feel and sound of solid contact are incredibly pleasing. I have never had so much control and consistency with straighter putts, until I tried this club. The handle by Winn is very comfortable. The head cover is padded and protects the putter head.

Given the ability to customize many factors with this putter, this truly may be the last putter that you'll ever buy.

The only putter you may consider is the 2 Bar Blade.
