Good shirtJanuary 12, 2008 B. Valentine(Seattle, WA) I prefer these over the Ralph Lauren (RL) Polo shirts for the following reasons:
1) The size is cut a little "larger". I am a XXL and these fit much better than the XXL RL polo shirt.
2) The material is lighter and has a little "meshness" to it, so they feel like they cool better in hot weather.
3) They come out of a wash cycle in better shape. For example, with the RL polo the collars always tend to curl after washing them. These do not do that.
One note: They require cold water washing and no fabric softener, else you can end up with spots on them from the softener (I learned this the hard way).
They are not cheap, but they are a good quality shirt. Of course, with any clothing, it usually boils down to a personal preference of what you like. I like these.
