1 out of 5 stars sketchers police lights toddler shoes   November 23, 2008

very disappointed with Sketchers...my 4 year old son wore these twice and they fell apart....I sent them back and requested a replacement pair....still waiting for Sketchers to send me the new pair...strange how they cash your check within days but it sends weeks/months to make a return??? however...I got tired of waiting and ordered a pair through Bealls and had no problem...the shoes are fine and were actually a few dollars cheaper through their company than Sketchers

Very cute shoes, nice and solid. Fit true to size. Great for all little boys.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome Lights!   September 16, 2008

I got these shoes for my son since Wal-Mart did not have half sizes and that is what he needed. These shoes may be pricey but they are very well made. We had only one problem with the lights on one of the shoes where the red/blue lights do not light up. I really noticed that the quality of these shoes compared to any cartoon character ones you find at Target or Wal-Mart are dramatic. There's no comparison - these ones are very well made. I'd spend the money to buy them again. I just wish Skechers would fix the light problem with the shoes so they work right.

1 out of 5 stars Quite a disappointment   September 13, 2008

My son was very excited when he saw these shoes in the store. Unfortunately, they did not have his size in the police version. We almost bought the fire version, but they only ones they had in stock ended up being defective (one of the shoes wouldn't light up at all) - that should have been my first clue! We ended up purchasing them through Amazon, and they were fine ... for a few days. Eventually the light strip across the laces on one of the shoes stopped lighting up. Now one on the other shoe doesn't work either. The shoes were way too expensive for such poor quality!!!
