I purchased this timberland for my 13 month old son because I didn't want to get him the construction boot timberland because it would have been too heavy for his feet and ankles; moreover this shoe is nice, and my son walks well in it. The only thing that I don't like is where you put his foot in at doesn't streach at all. There is no tongue to make the opening wider; it is just that little hole and if my son has on thick socks it is really hard to get his foot in the shoe.
