I bought these for my 8 year old as a solution to wearing heavy, sweaty sneakers to school in hot weather. These fit his wide feet and are breathable with a sock or no sock option. Most of all, they meet school dress code of closed toe sneaker. Protective and comfortable enough for school P.E., taking walks, going to the beach, hiking, you name it. A great all purpose shoe for kid with odd sized foot.
