This shoes are very comfortable. I do agree that a size larger that what you normally wear is the way to go.

This shoe is so much more comfortable than the original rainbows. They do however run small. You will need to order a size larger than you normally wear.

We lived in San Clemente where Rainbow Sandals are made and drove by the Rainbow Sandal company many times. After buying cheaper sandals we finally stopped and purchased our first pair right before moving. I wish we'd bought 10! They were were so comfortable, we walked the Grand Canyon in them, and made a cross country trip in them. We bought a pair for everyone in the family. My husband, who never, ever, wears sandals, wears his Rainbow Westcape sandals almost everyday now. Sadly, my pair was lost in a leg of the trip, so I'll be buying more. Recommend to anyone!
