I wanted a black shoe for work that I could also stomp around town in for the fall/winter. Had to be comfortable. This works! The sole is very soft and there is a soft cushion in the front half of the shoe that is great. Also I love the way the front curves up.
The size is true to fit. I wear about a 10 and ordered a 10 and no complaints. The top elastic leather piece is a little snug, but I imagine it will stretch with time.
So far I've worn it with black socks, but I think if I wanted to go sockless, it'll work fine too.
My only complaints are that for both left and right feet the very front stitch loop on both left hand sides of the shoe has come a bit loose already (I've had them a week), so I'm not sure what to do about that. Also the sole is very soft so the shoes make a squishy noise on linoleum, but I'm really not concerned.
