Album Description Although he's neither the originator of the reggaeton style nor even the genre's first home-grown superstar, Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee was instrumental in introducing the Latin hip-hop/dancehall hybrid to a mainstream audience in the United States and abroad. Yankee (aka Raymon Ayala) began appearing on reggaeton tracks as early as 1993, but it was 2004's Barrio Fino and its infectious single "La Gasolina" that made him a household name. He has since collaborated with up-and-coming reggaeton artists as well as hip-hop stars like Snoop Dogg and Lloyd Banks.

His Best January 29, 2010 Realistic (Michigan, USA) I freaking love this album. No matter how many times I hear the songs I still love them. There's not one song I don't like. And if you're not too good with Spanish, don't worry, you'll still enjoy it :)
Album Of the Year December 9, 2009 Ryan L. Bradley Daddy Yankee is a famous singer that everybody know. He is from Puerto Rico and the songs he made there make him famous. Now he is making this new album " Talento De Barrio" with cool tracks. When people hear Daddy Yankee singing they get crazy because they love his songs. What I don't like about him is that he was rapping with Don Omar. I don't like that, because i like both of their music.
Hands down, thumbs up!
Great album! November 22, 2008 Jamie C. (Illinois) I've been a DY fan for a long time, so maybe I'm biased. But this CD is AWESOME! Unlike his previous CD "El Cartel," which was mostly focused on manufactured dance hits and contained a few duds (Papi Lover, anyone?), "Talento de Barrio" shows his real maturation as an artist. Every track on this CD is a winner in its own way. The tracks with guest artists are especially good. I have to admit, I listen to it pretty much every day on my way home from work & haven't gotten tired of it yet! DY has consistently been stepping the reggaeton game up and I can't wait to see what he does next.
A MUST HAVE Daddy Yankee Album! November 14, 2008 Naddy (Kansas City, MO USA) What an album!!! Daddy Yankee is back and better than before! I was listening to this album for the whole first 2 weeks nonstop! Don Omar needs to come strong with another album, because Daddy blew this out of the water. Favorite songs: Pose, Guerra Paz, Pa Kum Pa, Temblor, Llamada De Emergencia, Come Y Vete, and Kandela. If you want great Reggaeton jams pick up this CD
