When everything else that is real is disappearing or being altered into the present tribal music, the Legend is truly that and carried on in the old tradition it was created in when the first popular calypso hit the public in 1949 (If you want to be happy and live a king's life, never make a pretty woman your wife........". As part of The Legend it is sung as it was back then. Calypso often offers wise observations (Man Smart, woman smarter). Now THAT is Calypso!
