There is literally a single 0.005 carat diamond in the middle of this heart pendant. The rest of the heart is a dull silver that contrasts conspicuously with the bright silver of the necklace links. I'm very disappointed and will be returning this ASAP. If you're looking for something sparkly and pretty as well as classy, I recommend you check out the Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia heart necklace - virtually the same as this necklace, except the CZ heart actually sparkles.

Purchased this as a gift while on a one day sale, and am pleased with the overall value for the sale price. Please note, the heart is not encrusted with diamonds (and rather has a few very tiny diamond accents), but for the price, I wouldn't have expected it to be full of diamonds. I bought it with plans of adding some gems or charms near the heart pendant to punch up color. The big plus is the silver chain itself which is substanital without being heavy, well made and unique in design. If you do any beading or wire work, it's easy enough to add a bit of pop, but even if you don't, it's a nice gift idea. I have two sons who could use this as a special present for any important girl.
Do watch for a sale, as the heart isn't really 'pave'...meaning all diamonds. However, many plain silver heart necklaces sell for the regular Amazon price or more. It isn't a bad deal in any event.
