This 316L stainless steel 4g, 1/2" segment ring has a small segment of the ring held captive by the ring creating a nearly seamless ring. This ring is available in gauges from 16 to 2 and two inside diameters making it ideal for a variety of piercings.

Though I have ring pliers, I'm unable to open 2 of the 4 rings I received. I guess 1/2 inch diameter is a little to stiff for 4 gauge. Otherwise, the quality is much better than expected and I've been using 2 of the rings "permanently" since receipt.
