I am not into cooking and was surprised at how easy this fryer is to use.
PROS
--Cooks a delicous turkey, cooking process is easy as well as cleanup.
CONS
--The turkey can't be more than 12 pounds.
If you have an attached garage, cook it there so your house won't have that fried smell. Also, be sure to dry all the cavities of the turkey so you won't get popped with oil and so that your oil will stay hot.

Masterbuilt 20010109 Butterball Professional Series Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer
Love this fryer. We've used it to fry a whole turkey as well as turkey parts. We have always brined our turkey and we've had many compliments on the taste and how moist the turkey is. I would not recommend a turkey over 10-11 lbs., although instructions state that the fryer will accommodate up to a 14 lb. turkey. We fried approximately 9 lbs. of turkey parts at one time and they came out great (6 legs & 4 thighs). The fryer is easy to use, easy to clean and we love the drain feature. Everything would clean up nicely in a regular kitchen sink; however we did find it a lot easier to clean in a laundry type sink, especially the fryer tub which holds the oil. Overall, we would highly recommend it to anyone, in fact we have highly recommended it to friends & family. This method of frying is a lot less messy and much safer than the propane tank & turkey fry pot. While we have used the fryer indoors (and more than likely will again), we find that using it outdoors keeps the smell of the peanut oil from permeating the house for several days.

Yesterday was the first time that I had a chance to use the turkey cooker--I did 4 chickens for a Super Bowl party--and was very pleased with the cooking time and the clean up--I was the BOMB!!!!Thanks so much--Ginny

Love the fryer...easy to use...easy to clean up...the turkey breasts were wonderful...moist...very quick...less than an hour....35-45 minutes depending on the weight....easy to clean....a well thought out design....go buy one...you won't be sorry....
