| Customer Reviews: good value at $25 August 23, 2009 Lund Wolfe (Chandler, AZ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a decent pan and a good value for the $[...] I paid months ago. At the current price of $[...]+, it's a total scam. You should be able to get high quality enamel cookware at that price. The grill was shipped loose in the pan but the inside of both pans was undamaged. There were three minor manufacture chip defects on the bottom of one pan which doesn't affect the cooking quality.
The top pan fits very crudely, so I did need to just use the bottom pan with tightly fitted aluminum foil for slow cooking chicken or ribs in the oven. The enamel surface is pretty easy to clean. This brand is a good value but only when it is very modestly priced.
Roaster Pan (3 Piece) July 7, 2009 Randall D. Buss (Pierce, NE USA) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I would have been happier if the roaster did not have a 'ding' in it. I did not notice it at first, but it was damaged when it arrived. I would have liked it much better if it were not damaged. I don't believe I will get things from Amazon again.
Perfect Size! Perfect for the Barbeque! Perfect for Summer! June 2, 2009 FaireMaiden (Yon forest, *lol*) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I LOVE THIS PAN! and can't sing the praises of this wee Roaster any more than a 5-Star Review, *vbs*.
It's your typical 'dark navy-blue/speckled with white' Graniteware, and is basically a 9 x 13-sized Pan that you'd bake a cake in. However, the Lid also serves as an open Roaster because the Handles have been positioned, (and smartly, I might add), on the side of it, (instead of the top as per the usual, larger Graniteware Roasters), so the Lid lays flat.
The Rack makes the whole contraption spectacular as this Pan is small enough to fit in a Barbeque... so, when I'm tired of Grilling, (but don't want to heat up the house by turning the oven on), I can actually 'Bake' on my Grill by using this Pan. The Rack keeps the food above the bottom of the Pan where it would burn otherwise.
I've roasted a whole Chicken, a Turkey Breast, and a Loin of Pork in my Barbeque by using this Pan and Rack, and each has turned out delish! I use the Lid at the same time to saute mushrooms and other veggies as well as baking Au Gratin potatoes... mmm-mmm-good! *lol*
As per the other Review, the edges aren't completely rolled, so they do have a bit of sharpness to them. You have to be careful when washing.
But, this does not diminish in the least the joy I have gotten from this 9 x 13-sized Roasting Pan w/Rack.
I'm so glad they made one in this size and with these features. It has saved me from the inevitable onslaught of 'Drop-Dead from the Summer-Heat' oven-cooking!
Everything Roaster April 6, 2009 dhcalahn 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
the overall product is very good, very solid construction, the only thing we are not happy with is that all the edges are VERY SHARP!!! When we washed this product my wife cut her finger on the sharp edge.
Why didn't they "Roll all the Edges" of the lid and pan???
