Fasta Pasta's lid has measuring holes on one end and a strainer on the opposite end. These measuring holes precisely measure serving sizes. Water level guides on the base help ensure the exact amount of water is added. Pasta noodles won't stick together or to the cooker because the continuous boiling action keeps the noodles in motion. I love this pasta microwave cooker. It works! I researched a lot because I was skeptical that pasta could be nuked in a microwave but it can. Fasta Pasta had the most positive reviews on the internet so this is the one I came to Amazon to look for. I followed the instructions for timing and amount of water and presto, I had nicely cooked pasta. It makes for an easy, quick dinner after a long day at work. Sometimes I just drain, add butter, olive oil, garlic and parmesian cheese. Add a little salad and it's time to eat dinner! Clean up is a cinch - no pots and pans...

I purchased this as a gift since I had one and really liked it. I use the microwave a lot and this is a nice addition to clean, fast and no mess cooking. I highly recommend this product.

I am an admitted kitchen gadget person. I have all these great pasta pots...heavy nice pots...stainless steel, nonstick, with and without the draining inserts, and I can honestly tell you that after using the Fasta Pasta Microwave Cooker I can't think of a reason why I'd ever use anything else. This will sound over the top, but I have NEVER had such perfectly cooked pasta, and it was so unbelievably easy. Follow the cheat sheet provided by Fasta Pasta that lists all the various types of pasta with serving size, and water level instructions, and voila you get perfectly cooked pasta with very little draining necessary. This gadget is a serious keeper. You get the best pasta with the easiest clean up (dishwasher safe) with very little money invested. I may keep one large pasta pot for dinner parties, but it will go in storage, since this Fasta Pasta Microwave Cooker will be my everyday pasta "pot".
Try it for yourself and then think about giving it as a gift. That's what I'm doing.

I love this! It cooks pasta perfectly without all the wasted water or lost time to heat up a pot full of water. No need for a strainer so that cuts down on the washing, too.
I've never used it to cook anything other than pasta, but I like this so well, I'll be getting several more to give as Christmas presents this year.
