Perfect size and great quality. My husband uses charcoal underneath pot and on lid to cook. Handle strong. Exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find in any stores.

I can not tell you how shocked I was when I recieved this item. It is very heavy, well constructed and is more than it was advertised to be. You will not regret buying this dutch oven. I own several others and paid much more for each of them Now I suppose it was for the brand. This brand is just as good if not better than the other ones I paid much more for.

This dutch oven is heavy-duty, and well seasoned on the inside. I like the nubs on top - they allowed me to cook corn bread above my dutch oven chicken. However, the outside is either not seasoned as well, or needs to be tougher in order to endure the camp fire. After one use, the outside is pourous and showing some rust. We are going to treat the outside with engine-block paint, and hope that will ensure a long life for the oven.
