Excellent product August 29, 2009 J. Dauntless (Clearwater, Florida) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you are one of those people who are concerned over the long term health effects of the non-stick cooking pans, this stainless steel pan is an excellent alternative.
It does a great job in handling large amounts of food. Thick bottom and the smooth inside surface are ideal for stir-fry and other similar tasks. Very comfortable and cool handle.
After I read the other reviews about sides of the pan sticking to the food because of the excessive heat, I was a little bit concerned. However, it didn't happen to me. I believe people who described that condition put this pan on the largest heat element on the stove. Although this pan is 14 inch in diameter, the flat bottom is barely 8 inches, and you need the match the size of the heater to the flat bottom of the pan. For most stoves, that's the middle element.
It's a great buy at this price (I paid less than $40). Wish it were easier to store.

Surprisingly Pleased August 6, 2009 J. Edwards (Kansas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was very skeptical about buying this kind of wok. I had a electrical wok first but the coating started coming off. I wanted stainless steel but I was scared to try it. I am glad I did. It works great on my flat bottom stove. The only thing I dislike is how long the handle is. It makes it difficult to store.
I love this WOK June 4, 2009 Hippiechick1955 (Phoenix, AZ United States) I had a Westbend Electric Wok that I have used off and on for years, but it was beginning to tire. I like to make stir fry and with the electric wok out of commission, I needed to find a replacement. I looked at electic woks again, but finally decided to give this one a try. It seemed like a good size and the price was decent.
I am so glad I went with this product. I use it A LOT. It cooks well, cleans well and looks beautiful on my hanging pot rack. In fact I am so happy with it that I am planning on purchasing other cuisinart pans as well.
Great wok, but lid shattered spontaneously. April 24, 2009 Shane M. Rowse (Kansas City, Missouri United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The wok is great. The clear lid seemed great until the first time we washed it. It was sitting in a plastic coated wire drain dry rack and the edge of the lid was in one of the plate slots. There was a bit of pressure on it from the weight of the lid leaning against the wire dish support, but not a lot of stuff leaning on it or anything like that. Out of nowhere the lid shattered as if it had exploded, into thousands of roughly 1/16" chunks. Glass all over the kitchen.
We'll keep the wok, but we don't want a new lid....
