good dutch oven November 4, 2009 C. Redfield (Denver CO USA) I've had this dutch oven for about a month and used it several times. It is heavy but cooks well and cleans up very easily. I'm pleased with it.
Great Buy... November 4, 2009 Earl T. Buchanan I bought this pot on a one day sale and received it three days later in perfect condition. I have used it about five or six times and it has preformed every bit as well as my Le Creuset Dutch Oven at less than one-third the price. Very Pleased!
Good price - but low quality April 26, 2009 Jessie 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have been using this thing for about 4 months. Really useful for making no-knead bread. One problem I have noticed is that there are little cracks forming all over the enamel. I only use it within the specified temperature range and it gets used pretty gently, so I am not sure what the issue is. Meanwhile, I have a couple of le creuset pots that do not have the same problem, I am not saying that justifies paying double the normal price, but if you are looking for something of equivalent quality, keep looking...
That HEAVY Pot January 7, 2009 Cynthia L. Withee (Oregon) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a marvelous pot for cooking, but I would not have purchased it if I'd seen it in the store and picked it up. It is VERY heavy, and I've learned to protect my wrists by always picking it up with both hands. If I need to clean out the bottom of the pot with a spatula, I have someone else help me hold it simultaneously. If I didn't need to clean it, then I'd never take it off the stove top. It's a challenge, but I love it when it's on the stove with my food cooking nicely inside.
Love it! January 26, 2008 K Swack (Ft Worth, TX) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is an awesome dutch oven. It is beautiful, sleek and contemporary for my kitchen. Of course it performs well too. I was going to purchase a Le Creuset but starting researching other dutch ovens and found this one. The price is great for such an awesome piece that I will have forever. The knob can be heated up to 500 degrees, unlike the Le Creuset's plastic knob.
