i bought a cast iron wok about 18 yrs ago and had used it on a regular basis for stir frying, spaghetti sauces, etc. it was my favorite piece of cookware. i recently moved and it was lost. i looked at amazon and saw a cast iron wok from lodge with the two handles on each side. my old one was smaller and had one long handle like a fry pan. well....after ordering and receiving this wok from lodge, i was really impressed. this wok is BIG and can handle a lot of food at one time. the handles are a big improvement over my other one. i use this on a gas stove and it is AMAZING! cut up pieces of meat sear and brown to perfection and vegetables turn out so good. it is perfect for sautee onions, peppers, etc. i'll brown hamburger meat and add seasoning and then add spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for a while. works great! this is definitely my favorite piece of cookware. as far as the lodge brand goes, it has a really nice finish and is not as pitted and pourous and other cheaper brands. get this and you won't be sorry

nice product - very heavy but solidity is good with a wok. Watch out for hot handles once it get going with cooking.

My husband had wanted a new wok for some time. Growing up his family had a cast iron wok. We looked everywhere to find one. The Lodge Pro-Logic work is great! It comes pre-seasoned with cooking oil (some other cast iron products are pre-seasoned with non-cooking oil...yuck!). At first when the box arrived we were worried that the wok was not deep enough. But the box and packaging are deceiving. It is a great depth with perfectly high sides. We have loved using it! It is a great wok overall and a great wok for its price!

I was reluctant to buy this wok because there are other cast iron woks sold for cheaper. But, the others didn't have good reviews, Lodge is good quality, made in the USA and pre-seasoned. The first time I tried it, it made a wonderful stir fry!

Awesome. Cleans easy, heats quick, hold heat...cast iron is the way to go. A great cooking experience even with my electric burners.
I use it 2-5 times a week for around 2 years, no signs of wear. Buy it. Cook using a wok. Healthy and FAST. One of the best investments I made for my health, wellbeing, and time spent in the kitchen. Make awesome meals in 5 minutes (prep time varies).
