| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This roomy 14" wok heats quickly and exceptionally well: use it for family-size stirfries as well as steaming, braising, and deep-frying. It is coated with a premium-quality Excalibur nonstick surface that cuts down minimally on heat but makes the pan very easy to clean. The wok's flat bottom can be used on either gas or electric cooktops and is more stable than the traditional Asian round-bottom pan. The handles have phenolic centers that keep them cool.

good product February 11, 2010 caicom98 (San Jose, CA) good sturdy product. it has a great non stick coat and the metal is very thick. The lid is a bit cheap along with the nob on the lid.
Here are the bad parts about this product
Cons:
-Very heavy base. The base itself is not an easy thing to lift.
-Lid is cheap. The lid works, but it seems like its very cheap and made of worst material they can find.
An expensive mistake December 13, 2009 C. Pranke This wok worked great until my wife was using it to steam some bao zi and let the water run out. The excessive heat ruined the non-stick finish, and we replaced it with a stainless steel wok for a quarter of the price. Seasoned properly it is non-stick and we don't have to worry about the finish. Save your money and head to Walmart.
It's Big - Really Big September 11, 2009 T. Merritt (LA) I've gotta say - 14 inches of metal is a lot heavier than I thought. Unless you're rocking huge family dinners - I recommend going with a smaller size.
What a Wok! June 21, 2009 S. Johnson Wow! This wok exceeded all my expectations. This is my second one of these woks, my first lasted 8 years and the nonstick coating still help up--the only reason I had to replace it was that it went missing. I would recommend this to anyone, its large and great for making stir fry for a family of 4
great pan December 13, 2008 A. Burroff (Brooklyn) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the best non stick Wok under $150 available on the market. The coating is really tough and it heats evenly. I have been using this item for at least 2 years and have yet to scratch it or damage the coating. I wish Joyce Chen made more pans in different shapes and sizes!
