Sturdy construction and deffinitely stands strong when weight is added! I have yet to add heat to the mix yet on the ring but I'm sure it will stand up to its opposers!

I've been trying to get away from teflon flat bottom woks and go with the traditional iron round woks. The issue is that the wok was too unstable on my stove. Buying this wok ring worked wonders for making it much more stable. I can now place it on my stove flipped upside down from the posted photo and get the gas flame directly on the iron wok. If I bring the wok to the table I bring the wok ring and place it as shown in the original photo to make an easy way of serving food from the wok.
Works great on my 15" wok on a Kenmore iron top gas range.

Works well enough. Not for use with Indian woks. Really is to be used for the larger Chinese woks with handles.
