Product Description It's called a lasagna pan, and of course that's a very suitable recipe for this piece, but don't be limited by the name alone. You can also use this for other casseroles, and for roasting meats and vegetables.

Love This Pan December 19, 2009 M. Tiscione (NJ) Exactly what I expected. Beautiful, sturdy, cooks perfectly and cleaning is a breeze. Have used it over and over without any problems whatsoever.
Good, with wishes for improvement. December 15, 2009 TruthTeller (USA) A heavy mirror finish lasagna pan. I only wish it had been about a half inch to one inch deeper. Baking Lasagna splatters and having it splatter on the sides makes clean up much easier than if it splatters or oozes out and down the outside of the pan, which is harder to soak. A little less long and wide, it could even conform to the size of typical boxed lasagna, but deeper. Oh well! No one's perfect, and I mean the designer. But compared to other pans, a 5 star.
Transdimensional Warping October 29, 2009 Alexander Faaborg (Mountain View, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Similar to other reviewers, my pan warped by the third use. What struck me as odd about this is that it wasn't just a little warped, but really warped, like it momentarily turned to rubber and then twisted a good two inches (diagonally opposite corners raising). It looked like my oven had phased the pan into another dimension and then had trouble getting it back to our reality. Overall this is really too bad, since the pan is a perfect size and all of our other All Clad cookware is of an extremely high quality.
Initial Thoughts August 7, 2009 LW87 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently found this pan and had been looking for a nice sturdy lasagna pan that would release well, but without the nonstick interior for fear of scratching it.
Thankfully came across this one on clearance and snapped it up.
I took a paper towel and dampened it with a little olive oil and wiped the interior down. Layered the meat sauce and "all the fixins".
It baked up beautifully, (nice and slow at 350) cooked and served up like a dream. Clean up was a snap.
It may not be the 4" deep of the nonstick lasagna pan I have, but it was definitely thick enough and the length/width is larger than my deep dish, so plenty made for second helpings.
Mind you, Stainless Steel does scratch when using cutting tools.. but it's expected, unlike what we want from a non stick interior.. a bit hard to cut into something with silicone and I'm sorry but nylon tools don't give a nice clean cut down into a deep dish cookware item.
If for any reason my experience changes, I'll update the review.
I would expect All Clad to honor their Lifetime Warranty though should the pan warp under normal usage.
Until then.. enjoy yours if you decide to purchase one!
Works for me! May 8, 2008 MSB (MD, USA) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
I almost didn't order this pan for two reasons. The first was that a lot of reviewers said their pans warped very badly the first time they used them. The second reason is that it was made in China.
The steel in this pan is solid and about as thick as the blade of an All-Clad spatula utensil. It is not a clad pan like their stove-top pots and pans.
I imagine if you take the pan out of the fridge with your pre-prepared lasagna in it and immediately put it into a hot, pre-heated oven on a rack at its lowest height (an inch or two above the heating coil in the oven), that may well warp the pan. I prepared my lasagna earlier in the day and stored it in the fridge until just before dinner. I let the pan sit on my counter for about 10-15 minutes before putting it into the oven with the rack set one position above the middle. The pan didn't warp at all, nothing stuck to it, and it cleaned-up like a dream.
This pan is quite a bit larger than I've used in the past for lasagna. I did have to double my recipe to fill it up!
As far as warpage problems, my hunch is someone either got a defective pan--not a surprise considering where it was made (see next paragraph)--or put it too close to the heating element in the stove. From a functionality perspective, the pan I got deserves five stars.
I give it three though because like one or two other reviewers I find it depressing and sad that All-Clad has reverted to having products with their good name on them made in China. Granted, that most certainly is reflected in the price, but I wish American manufacturers would realize there are a lot of folks like me out here who would be more than happy to pay a bit more for something that wasn't manufactured in a communist country where quality and consistency in maintaining quality aren't even close to US standards.
