Really Nice Pan January 10, 2010 Charlemange (Fort Washington, Maryland United States) I really like this pan. It is non stick and cleans easily. The only thing that would be an improvement, is if the handle was fully coated with silicone for easier handling.
damaged product November 24, 2009 Ash Yelverton (louisiana) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I cannot review this product positively, because mine was damaged upon arrival, so I was unable to even use it. The pan was dented in on one side and not acceptable. I had to immediately send it back for a refund. The package it was shipped in was sloppily put together; it was only cushioned by a little bit of crumpled paper, which is probably why it was in that condition by the time it got to me. I'll never order a product like that again, if they can't do better. I replaced it with Paula Deen's version, which arrived in perfect condition, because it was packaged in it's own separate outside box, and wrapped very well. Order it instead; the quality is better also.
Da Wok! November 2, 2009 S. Anderson This is our second non-stick wok and I use it for everything. I make stir fry, soups, scrambled eggs... just about anything that needs cooking on the stove-top. I use and All-Clad 12" cover for the lid, since it really needs a lid to work perfectly. In fact, that's the only reason I gave it only four stars (no lid). I cook a lot and this my "go-to" pan!! Get one.
Great pan October 28, 2009 A. Tatarsky (Portola Valley, CA) I recently re-purchased this pan (and the matching Grill Pan as well). My last one lasted two years before the non-stick had degraded enough to replace. This time I'm being more careful -- not to stack other pans on top (using the provided cardboard circle to keep them apart), and washing without any hint of abrasive action, and not to let the pan over-heat (which is easy to tell as the red color turns darker when very hot). We'll see if it lasts longer, but two years isn't bad.
It's very easy to clean, cooks great, handle keeps pretty cool... definitely a winner. The non-stick surface is terrific. As I recall last time it started to get less effective after about a year.
Great product June 2, 2009 S. Chandrasekhar (Lexington, KY) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Very good product. It is large enough to cook for a big family and non-stick coating works like a charm. It is very easy to maintain (unlike the expensive products) -- you do not need to worry about cooling it down before rinsing or the water temperature or anything like that. As soon as you are finished you can chuck it in the sink/dishwasher and thats it...the non-stick coating is very durable. Expensive products, while good, require a lot of care and maintenance, and I just don't have the patience for that. The only minor issue is lack of a second (opposing) handle. This pan can get heavy when cooking large quantities of food, and without the second handle can be hard to lift. Also it lacks a cover, but I found a cheap one at Walmart. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the purchase and could not hope for a better all-round non-stick pan.
