3 out of 5 stars Train cake pan   April 28, 2008

I bought this 3D train cake pan to make my son a Thomas the Train 3D cake for his 3rd b-day. The cake itself turned out great once I made some adjustments to the suggested cook time. I only had to cook 2 cakes for it to come out right. (I don't bake much.) The only real downfall for this product is where the hole is located to "check" to see if it's done. It's at a shallow location. So, when I checked to see if it was done, it showed it was. Unfortunately, it was the deeper part of the cake that wasn't done and I had no way of knowing until I took the cake pans apart.

4 out of 5 stars So cute   November 29, 2007

Definitely read the directions first- I used the wrong batter and the wrong amount so it didn't stand up. I still used it and the cake turned out so cute.

Pros: If you, or someone you love, likes trains... this form is great.

Cons: Didn't come with the cake already in it. (Only kidding)
