To have Oscar de la Renta's approval on this book says it all! I could not put this book down once I started reading it. Joseph Borkson creates a brilliant picture of the Dominican Repulic. I feel as if I have traveled there - viewing its architecture, talking with the locals and learning about all of the unique qualities that make this wonderful country so rich in history and culture.
