Good ride, OK game, horrible menu system February 24, 2010 Simple Style (Dallas, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The game is very much like the ride at WDW. The carnival-style activities are somewhat repetitive, but reasonable.
The menu system is horrible. There are no labels for the menu options and no clues that the B button is the way to go back. If you finally navigate your way through, the activities are entertaining.
The 3D is lack-luster and the game is finished very quickly.
Though my young children find the activities challenging and are entertained by their favorite characters, any child with video game skills will find this boring quite quickly.
It's is worth renting for the weekend or buying second-hand.
Fun for the whole family! February 17, 2010 J. Scanlan (Stamford, CT United States) This game is a lot of fun for everyone in the family. I had a blast playing with my husband and our nieces and nephews. Even my niece who is four had no trouble playing this game. One caution though, wearing the 3D glasses did give me a headache, but you do not need to wear them to have fun.
Great Fun for Whole Family February 14, 2010 s williams (Lakeville, MN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love the game! It is as close as you can come to the original ride at Walt Disney World. We just came back from Florida and my daughter loved this ride. I decided to get the game based on what a fellow vacationer had told me about it. While nothing can be the actual ride, the graphics are good, game is entertaining, and it is user friendly. I do not really like anything 3D for TV sets as they rarely work and I have a 19". However I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually enjoy the 3D effect in this game. (You have the option and do not have to use the 3D if you do not want to.) I feel I got my money's worth out of this game!
Cute, but not as fun as the Disneyland version. February 13, 2010 Ben Caine (CS, CO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Still a cute game for the kids, but wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. The kids don't really ask to play it much either. While the Wii is fun for motion games, the aiming of this game to hit a target is a bit squirly.
Toy Story for Wii - February 11, 2010 K. Perdue (Wisconsin) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We absolutely loved the new Toy Story ride at Disneyworld and thought we'd be able to bring the fun home with this game. It's not the case. The game is okay, very repetitive and there really isn't all that much to it. My daughter is 5 and it doesn't keep her attention for more than 5 minutes.
