3 out of 5 stars Still a good workout, but the songs are Meh   September 10, 2008

Still fun to play, pretty good workout.
Announcer is 400 million times better than DDR Universe (the bratty girl, "Well, I can't play FOR you!!") -- just a happy AA guy, whose taunts are said with very little malice.
Still not thrilled with loading times, and (though true of all my DDR iterations except PS2's Konamix version) it STILL doesn't accumulate calories! Only counts them PER SONG -- that is so stupid! I want to know how many IN TOTAL, and don't make me keep track on a piece of paper next to the TV....grr.
The songs are pretty disappointing -- WAAAAAAY too many slow songs -- what were they thinking? And the dance patterns for the "funk" selections are just odd and not even fun.
However, the Quest Mode is pretty fun, and I like the outfit options.

I'm 33. Bought this game to get some exercise. Lots of fun. Broke out in a sweat. Doesn't feel like working out at all, since it's actually a video game. I'd get it for the kids, too.

5 out of 5 stars Great party game   July 6, 2008

We had so much fun playing this with our friends and family. It is a great way to break the ice and get things moving.

1 out of 5 stars The worse songs in the universe   May 30, 2008

So I played DDR on Wii and thought, hey, what about buying it for my xbox? It's the same thing, right?

Wrong. The Xbox 360 DDRs are the worse pieces of musical tunes you'll ever hear. Where the Wii had a bunch of hits you can hear off the radio (kelly clarkson, the killers, etc), this version for XBOX has NONE. You know, the famous bands you saw on the back of the box? Well, that's the only bands you'll know. The rest are bad songs made by the programmers of the game. And they should've stuck to programming.
Imagine yourself back in the 90s, with loud beats and screechy voices. Now, but a twist of powerade colors in the background, and you've got this game. Lame. Totally lame.

Also beware: 99% of stores will not let you return this $70-90 purchase because it has a game in it. So you're out the pad AND the game if you hate it, which I did.

4 out of 5 stars Great fun on the dance floor   April 9, 2008

Bought this to get my wife a little more enthusiastic about my Xbox; She was getting a little annoyed with the time spent playing COD 4. Must say this game is fun and a good work out.
