The blue controller that my cousin had was the first that I had seen at that point in time. We've used it countless times and guess what? It works fine. No buttons wearing out or anything of that sorts. My cousin and a couple of friends had so much fun with Super Smash Bros. and of course, we used the blue one amongst other colored ones.
I actually bought black, blue, yellow and green from Amazon.
