For the price, you cannot beat it! Between the few books available, I found this to be the most informative.
A Good Basic Book June 21, 2009

Fodors has a formula and they cover it all nicely. Sure some of the local places are left out, they are hard to fine or don't cooperate much with writers, but the info is accurate for the most part, those things change every year and businesses change hands or close up or start up, but still, this guide is very useful for before and during your trip.

We had already decided on where we were going to stay in St.Croix, before purchasing this book, but there's a lot of useful information none the less for anyone like ourselves who haven't ever been there before. May be able to provide a better review of the book upon our return in early March.

I am usually not a huge Fodor's fan, but I do recommend this reference as a good general resource for under $12.00, especially for BVI first-timers. It includes the USVI, so if you're planning to be on St. John or St. Thomas, this will be helpful for that, as well. In 240 pages, it provides all the basics, as well as some helpful maps.
