The book was very helpful on our recent trip to St. Maarten/St. Martin. Reviews were given of resorts, beaches, restaurants, and excursions. Helpful hints were given regarding transportation, currency, electrical use, and customs. I always take a Frommer's book wherever I go outside of the U.S.

There are numerous guides out there, but Frommer's is one of the more reliable and trusted.
Set on this island: Murder in the Raw: A Rex Graves Mystery (Rex Graves): A beautiful Anglo-French actress goes missing under mysterious circumstances on the paradise island of St. Martin in the French West Indies. By C. S. Challinor, the author of "Christmas is Murder," which received a starred review from Booklist and was featured in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine and Mystery Scene Magazine, etc.
