Or ... June 28, 2008 raptorrunner (Great Plains, USA) Or you could try the novelization written by Douglas C. Jones, Season of Yellow Leaf. Very very good, go try it. It's probably in your library.

Ride the wind January 13, 2008 Kay Milburn (Darwin Australia) I highly recommend this book. It is well written and easy to read. The book shows both sides of the story of indians and white settlers and is intresting and emotional. I would have to say this is my favourite book.
A classic! November 14, 2007 iriegirl (South Florida) Not only a great story, but based on real people & events. A talented writer who writes about an enthralling time period.
